Yonkers Hudson River Museum Amphitheater Offers Free Events In August

YONKERS, N.Y. -- The Hudson River Museum Amphitheater is inviting residents to enjoy a series of free events on Fridays and Saturdays throughout August.

The acclaimed improv troupe National Comedy Theatre will also perform in the amphitheater on August 1 at 8 p.m.

On Aug. 7, Timothy Bloom will perform a mix of R&B, rock, and soul doors open at 7:30 p.m.

The Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival will visit the amphitheater on Aug. 8 to perform an adaptation of  "An Iliad."

On Aug.14 Oserkre will offer a blend of Afropop, ska, punk, and reggae.

Doors open at 7:30 p.m. for all shows, which are scheduled to start at 8 p.m.

Free parking is available at JFK Marina and Trevor Park, off Warburton Avenue and JFK Memorial Drive, 1 block north of the Museum.
