YPIE is seeking 20 college essay writing volunteers for its Summer College Prep Academy. Volunteers will help rising seniors prepare an effective college application essay. The program will last for six summer Wednesdays from July 6 to Aug. 10 from 2-4 p.m.
Training will be led by essay writing and interview coach Jack Brandon. Volunteers must participate in the orientation before being paired with two Yonkers students for the regular Wednesday meetings.
