Monday, Dec. 17

Auditions for HomeTown Heroes Winter Showcase 2013: 3 p.m. Aspiring artists and musical performers are encouraged to audition for February’s HomeTown Heroes Winter Showcase.  This is the final set of auditions for the show.  Auditorium, Yonkers Riverfront Library, 1 Larkin Center.

Tuesday, Dec. 18

Holiday Party: 4 p.m. Join the Yonkers Public Library as it celebrates the special December holidays of Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa. There will be games and snacks provided. Party is limited to 30 children between the ages of 8 to 12. Register in advance by calling the library at 914-337-1500 ext. 428 or in person on the second floor. Community Room A and B, Yonkers Riverfront Library, 1 Larkin Center.

Wednesday, Dec. 19

Board of Education: 7:30 p.m. The Yonkers Public School’s Board of Education will hold its regularly scheduled monthly meeting at the Saunders High School Auditorium. Board members will hear public comment and vote on various resolutions. Saunders High School Auditorium, 183 Palmer Road.
