YONKERS, N.Y. – Assembly member Shelley Mayer and the Westchester Women’s agenda will host “Making Work Work for Families: A Forum on NYS Paid Family Leave and Minimum Wage Increase” on Thursday, July 28 from 6:30-8 p.m. at Yonkers Riverfront Library in the community room.
Learn about the measures, how they will affect employees and employers, and the next steps that can be taken to improve them. Speaking will be Janel Quarless of the nonprofit Working Families Organization and Sherri Leiwant, co-president and co-founder of A Better Balance.
