Tuckahoe High School Hosts Memorial Day Ceremony On Tuesday

TUCKAHOE, N.Y. – Tuckahoe High School is hosting a Memorial Day ceremony Tuesday.

The ceremony, sponsored by the high school’s student government organization and the Tuckahoe PTA, will include music, readings, and tributes to local veterans, according to a press release from the Tuckahoe Union Free School District.

William E. Cottle Elementary School, Tuckahoe Middle School, and Tuckahoe High students were invited to take part in a Memorial Day essay contest.

The winning essays will be read as part of the ceremony.

The ceremony will begin at 9:30 a.m. on the turf field at Tuckahoe High School, 65 Siwanoy Blvd., Eastchester.
