‘Mr. Dickens Tells a Christmas Carol’ is a theatrical performance recreating Charles Dickens’ own readings of the classic tale that brings the travails of Ebenezer Scrooge, Bob Cratchit and Tiny Tim alive. This spirit is brought to life to life in this adaptation, which takes place throughout the Lyndhurst mansion. Working from Dickens’ actual scripts, actor Michael Muldoon tells the well-loved tale as guests travel throughout the mansion “meeting” the different spirits and characters.

The performance is approximately 90 minutes and is appropriate for all ages. Performances begin Friday, November 23rd and continue through Sunday, December 30th. Come see the words of Dickens in a historic period setting!

Visitors will follow Mr. Dickens and his imagined helper, Mrs. Wiggins, as he wanders through the mansion to tell his tale. Everyone ends in at the "Cratchit's" welcoming kitchen for some holiday cheer!
