NORWALK, Conn. In honor of its 84th anniversary, the 7-11 chain of convenience stores celebrated nationwide by giving away free cups of its signature semi-frozen drink, the Slurpee. Coupled with the hot weather that blanketed the area Monday, it made for long lines at the local branches of the store. Here, the Ozimek family of New Canaan enjoys an after-dinner dessert at the Norwalk 7-11 on Main Avenue.
