EASTCHESTER, N.Y. -- The Lake Isle Club swim team won its second meet of the season Monday, swimming past the Rye Golf Club 250-220 in a close meet at its home pool.
Chris Torres won the eight-and-under boys freestyle, backstroke and breaststroke events while Nick Torres took first place in the 10-and-under boys freestyle, backstroke and butterfly to lead Lake Isles swimmers.
Juliana Rivera placed first in the eight-and-under girls freestyle and backstroke for the winners and teammate Georgia Lazaroni won the backstroke and breaststroke for 12-and-under girls.
Lake Isle had four double winners in the boys events with Dawson Galluzzi winning the 12-under boys freestyle and backstroke, Robert Warner in the 14-under boys freestyle and backstroke, Sora Shiraishi took first in the 17-under boys freestyle and breaststroke and Declan Kennon placed first in the 17-under boys backstroke and butterfly.
