Presidents' Day Celebration At Philipse Manor Hall

YONKERS N.Y. - Yonkers residents can celebrate Presidents' Day by participating in a mock election at Philipse Manor Hall from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday.

The program will include presidential quizzes, a scavenger hunt, a mock election and story times. Visitors also will have a chance to make their own set of George Washington's famous false teeth and create presidential bookmarks.

The celebration also will feature the Cochran Collection of Presidential Portraiture. The collection includes the works of artists such as Gilbert Stuart, Eastman Johnson and Thomas Eakins.

All activities are included in the cost of museum admission: $5 for adults, $3 for seniors and children 12 and under are free. For information or questions, please call Philipse Manor Hall's Public Programs coordinator at 914-965-4027 x102.
