Fans will have the opportunity to join Vickers to cheer the Rangers on as they travel across the Hudson to take on their rivals, the New Jersey Devils.
Vickers is no stranger to Empire City Casino having hosted a viewing party early last year. Rangers’ legends Adam Graves, Stéphane Matteau and Nick Fotiu hosted the three previous viewing parties.
Fans from all over the tri-state area are encouraged to hop on the Rangers Bandwagon, which includes a special free Rangers bus departing from Madison Square Garden (outside Café 31, 220 W. 31st St. between Seventh and Eighth Ave.) at 3:15 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, and arriving just in time to spend some quality hockey time with Vickers. The meet and greet will begin at 4 p.m.
During the short bus ride, fans can win autographed Rangers gear, hockey equipment and more.

The viewing parties inside Dan Rooney’s Sports Pub at Empire City Casino are free for all to attend and begin one hour before the puck drops.
Joining Rangers fans for the festivities, including the bus ride from the Garden, will be the Rangers Blue Crew who will put fans to the test with Rangers trivia and offer an array of Rangers swag as giveaways during each intermission.
Fans can also enjoy a variety of food and beverage specials, including $1 wings, $2.50 bud lights and more.
“Hockey fans will find no shortage of fun at one of the premier entertainment destinations in the Northeast,” said Taryn Duffy, director of public affairs at Empire City Casino. "Join us on the Rangers bus or at the Casino to meet Vickers, cheer for the Rangers, jeer against the Devils and have a great time.”
The Feb. 25 event is the fourth of five viewing parties planned during the NHL season, all of which are hosted by former New York Rangers greats during Rangers away games.
Stay tuned to www.empirecitycasino.com/rangers for the announcement of the final Rangers host at the last viewing party of the season on Sunday, March 12, at 12:30 p.m., when the Rangers take on the Detroit Red Wings.
