WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Montefiore Medical Center is hosting its seventh annual Earth Day Expo to help people learn about the benefits of sustainable solutions and environmentally friendly products on Tuesday, April 22, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
The event is hosted by Montefiore's engineering department and will be held at Montefiore Medical Center’s Moses Campus, East Garden, at 111 E. 210th St., Bronx, N.Y.
Vendors and members of the engineering department will speak about alternative transportation options and household products that are environmentally safe, cost-effective and work well.
The event will include representatives from Cree, GE, Rubbermaid, Con Edison, Grainger, Clorox Green Works, Earth Friendly Products and 511 Rideshare.
Community members, patients and associates are invited to celebrate the Earth Day.
Musical entertainment and refreshments will be available at the event.
