'Lady in the Dark' Set at Sarah Lawrence In Yonkers

YONKERS N.Y. -- Sarah Lawrence College is staging a production of “Lady in the Dark” from March 7-9, at 7 p.m. 

The musical revolves around fashion magazine editor Liza Elliot caught in a love triangle and under pressure to make deadline decisions for the magazine while being haunted by strange dreams.

The play is by Moss Hart, with music by Kurt Weill and lyrics by Ira Gershwin. It originally opened on Broadway in 1941. This production is directed by Sarah Lawrence College theater faculty member Shirley Kaplan.

The performance will be in the college's Suzanne Werner Wright Theatre. The event is free, but, space is limited. To reserve tickets, call 914-395-2412 or e-mail collegeevents@sarahlawrence.edu.
