Orville-Dean Fairweather, 37, allegedly shot his wife, Jolesia Fairweather, 34, on Sunday, Aug. 21 around 7:50 a.m., in their home, according to Prince George's County police.
Officers responded to the home to find the victim suffering from a gunshot wound. She was rushed to a hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
Police believe that Fairweather shot his wife during an argument.
Fairweather is charged with first and second degree murder and additional charges. He is in custody of Department of Corrections on a no-bond status.
