Wilton Democratic Town Committee Welcomes All To Fall Barbecue

WILTON, Conn. -- The Wilton Democratic Town Committee invites residents to its 2016 Fall Barbecue on Saturday, Sept. 10, from noon to 3 p.m. at Merwin Meadows, 52 Lovers Lane, in Wilton.

Although the line-up of speakers is not yet set, past attendees have included U.S. Sens. Richard Blumenthal and Chris Murphy, Representative Jim Himes, Gov. Dan Malloy, Lt. Gov. Nancy Wyman, State Attorney General George Jepsen, Secretary of State Denise Merrill and others.

“Whether you’re into local or presidential politics, or just up for a great time with Wilton friends, come join us,” said Deb McFadden, Democratic Town Committee chairwoman. "The barbecue is alway sfun and informative."

Picnic fare--hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken and veggie burgers—as well as soft drinks will be served. Early-bird tickets are $40 per adult, $10 for children and students under 18, $100 for a family, and free for children under six.
