“Our Irvington students love what they are doing,” said music teacher Alan Goldberg. “They have taken their intelligence and talent, which are considerable, and pushed them to the max. In my view, they are just doing what they love to do: make music. They are so absorbed in their music that being accepted into the All-County groups is a natural, logical outcome.”

The Main Street School students selected for the orchestra include Julianne Korb (violin), Ryan Liu (bass) and Seungchan Yun (cello), while Victoria Assade, Tiernan Cain, Jaron Kim and Emily Kropp were selected for the All-County Chorus.

Irvington Middle School students selected for the All-County Junior Orchestra for grades six and seven are Richard Ackerman (viola), Mary Cuff (cello), Taylor Lee (cello), Anika Manchanda (violin), Eesha Thaker (violin), Reinesse Wong (violin) and Robert Yun (viola).
