Funeral Wednesday For 14-Year-Old Girl Who Drowned In Lake Mahopac

MAHOPAC, N.Y. - Funeral services will be held Wednesday for the 14-year-old girl who drowned Friday in Lake Mahopac.

Jenna S. Nolan, of Mahopac, was pulled from the lake Friday afternoon. She died later that day.

Nola was born on Feb. 27, 2000 in Mt. Kisco.

Jenna is survived by her parents Michael and Cathy, older sister Abigail, younger brother John, aunt Brenda Nolan, grandmother Margaret and the Scales Families.

Visitation will be held at the Joseph J. Smith Funeral Home on Monday from 6 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 5 to 9 p.m. There will be a Funeral Mass celebrated on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church in Mahopac. Private cremation will follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jenna's memory to the St. Johns Food Pantry, 221 E. Lake Blvd, Mahopac, NY 10541. There will be a scholarship fund set up in the near future.
