Lambert is the author of "A Compromised Generation: The Epidemic of Chronic Illness in America's Children." She is set to speak at 7 p.m. at the Rye Free Reading Room as part of the Holistic Moms event.

They have found that environmental factors that cause autism are the same ones causing epidemics of ADHD, juvenile diabetes, asthma, gastrointestinal disorders, and many other chronic illnesses."
