Hudson River Museum Announces September Programs

YONKERS, N.Y. -- The Hudson River Museum will host several exhibitions and programs throughout September.

  • Envy: One Sin, Seven Stories. An Installation by Adrien Broom will present envy through fairy tale interpretations using photographs, stage set and three dimensional art on Wednesday through Sundays through Sept. 27. 
  • Carla Gannis: Garden of Emoji Delights reimagines the triptych by Heironymus Bosch as a digital collage of emojis. The installation will be on display through Sept. 27.
  • Patrons can tour the galleries and Envy exhibition led by a Museum Docent for free with Museum admission on Sept. 5 at 1 p.m.
  • Be a part of a crafting community and make fabric capes with Sarah Divi on Sept. 12 from 2 to 4 p.m.
  • Darren T. Scala from D. Thomas Fine Miniatures, Hastings-on-Hudson will lead The Fine Art of Minatures at Glenview Mansion on Sept. 12 from 5 to 7 p.m. Admission is $5 for members and $10 for non-members.
  • Glenview Tours are available on Saturdays and Sundays at 1 and 3 p.m. 
  • Arts and science projects inspired by museum exhibits will be held on Saturdays and Sundays from 1 to 4 p.m. 

The planetarium will host the following shows on Saturdays and Sunday in September:

  • "One World, One Sky: Big Bird's Adventure" at 12:30 p.m. 
  • "The Sky Tonight" at 2 p.m.
  • "We Are Aliens" at 3:30 p.m.
