Preventing Falls Among Seniors

Seniors are invited to a free workshop designed to help prevent and lower the risk of falls. Co-hosted by several local elected officials along with VNSNY Choice, the workshop will help seniors identify situations and activities that can put them at risk of falls, as well as how people can assess home for hazards. Attendees also will learn how to choose footwear and walking aids and where they can find local resources to help them build strength and stamina.
