YONKERS, N.Y. -- A hefty turnout, over 2,000 local families, attended a Halloween "Spooktacular" event Saturday at the Cross County Shopping Center in Yonkers.

Along with trick-or-treating stations, the costumed guests got to enjoy arts and crafts area, a coloring station, fortuneteller with palm readings, an inflatable corn maze for kids, storytelling and strolling entertainers.
