Kensico to play opening game in sectional softball

BEEKMAN, NY -- Kensico opens play in the Little League Softball Majors’ Section 4 Championship, beginning today. Kensico, which won its second consecutive District 20 title, will play New City of Rockland County, the District 18 champion, Sunday, at noon at the Beekman Little League Complex. After losing its first game in the District 20 tournament, Kensico won five in-a-row, capped by a 7-1 victory over Eastchester, Friday. Kaylie Dymek tossed a four-hitter and struck out three against Eastchester.
