Known locally as Pepe's, Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana, founded in 1925 by Frank Pepe, has its original location in the Wooster Square neighborhood of New Haven, Conn., as well as stores in Fairfield, Manchester and Danbury, all in Connecticut; the Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, Conn.; West Hartford, Conn., Chestnut Hill, Mass., and soon to be in Waterbury. Conn.

The concept of brewing came to John Rubbo and Nick Califano of Yonkers Brewing Co. after they helped their grandfathers make homemade wine. As they exchanged stories, they cracked open a cold beer. As the cap fell off, the lights went on. The generations-old tradition of wine making sparked a fire, and with head brewer Taleb, they brewed up a recipe now known as their flagship, Yonkers Vienna Lager.
