The rain date is Thursday, Aug. 6.

“Come beat the heat and float down the lazy river,” said Astorino. “Then kick back and enjoy the movie.”

The film tells the story of Eggs, a human boy raised by trash-collecting trolls, attempting to save them from Archibald Snatcher, a pest exterminator. The park opens at 7 p.m. for after-hours swimming, picnicking and relaxing. The movie begins at sundown. Bring your own picnic, or purchase food at the concession stand. Bring blankets and chairs for seating.

Admission is $5 per person (free for children under 5) and only includes the movie. A Westchester County Park Pass is not required for admission. Admission wristbands will go on sale the day of the event at each location and will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. Please note that swimming is only permitted until dark, and all food and cooler guidelines for regular pool hours apply.
