The story of the establishment, growth and destruction of Greenwood, a prosperous African-American community in Tulsa, Oklahoma that was burned to the ground in 1921. The True Light Revealed Film Series presents powerful, controversial and emotional films telling the stories of the much less talked-about experiences of Black Americans. Sponsored by the IVY (Important Values for Youth) Programs, the Yonkers Human Rights Commission and City Councilman Michael Sabatino.
