WILTON, Conn. A celebration of the Chinese New Year, the Year of the Dragon, will take place at the Wilton Family Y on Sunday, Feb. 5, from 1 to 3 p.m.
The Chinese Theatre Works from New York City will do a show at the Y, performing traditional glove puppetry with music and dances. The show will be conducted in Chinese, however, a program will be provided with an English explanation.
The celebration will also include a martial arts demonstration, food, Red Good Luck envelopes, decorations and gifts for children to take home. The celebration is free for anyone who wishes to attend.
