The course is open for non-credit registration for an audit fee of $500. This seminar, offered by the Graduate Program in Women’s History, is from June 14-26 on the college’s campus in Bronxville.

Auditors are expected to do the reading for the course and attend classes to discuss the books and articles, meet numerous guest speakers, which include both scholars and activists, and assess the ways practitioners in a variety of fields — from filmmaking and journalism to policy analysis and program design — bring historical knowledge to bear on challenges we confront today.

Auditors will join graduate students in the Women’s History Program.

“We are delighted to be able to offer this opportunity to members of the community, particularly women and men working for advocacy organizations,” said Priscilla Murolo, director of the program. “The combination of people working in the field and students in our degree program will create a most dynamic educational experience for all participants.”

For more information, please visit https://www.sarahlawrence.edu/womens-history or call Tara James, associate director of the Women’s History Program, at tjames@sarahlawrence.edu or (914) 395-2405.

The course syllabus is available upon request. Registration for auditors will close June 1.
