Oakes will speak about her books, her unique publishing journey and the role of imagination in an adult life.
The event will be held in the Sommer Center for Worship and the Performing Arts on Concordia’s campus.
Oakes is the author of bestselling books for both teens and adults, including the Elly in Bloom Series, the Wendy Darling Saga and the Queen of Hearts Saga, which will be arriving in May via HarperCollins and has been optioned by Universal Studios for a major motion picture.
She is currently at work on a standalone novel and another Young Adult fairy tale series.
