'Air Jordan II' Flying High At Yonkers Raceway

YONKERS, N.Y. -- Driver Jordan Stratton caught the spotlight at the George Morton Levy Memorial Final on April 23 as he steered Bit of a Legend N. to a one-length victory clocked at 1:51.

His breakthrough season consisting of such moments has earned the 29-year-old driver a reputation as Yonkers Raceway's "Air Jordan II."

It was Jordan's sixth win in a row for the tandem. He swept all preliminary legs of the series with the seven-year-old horse Down Under Wonder.

Stratton swept all three third round legs of the Blue Chip Matchmaker series on April 1. He won both legs of the Yonkers vs. France Drivers Cup challenge on March 20.
