YONKERS, N.Y. -- The Westchester Bank recently announced the appointment of Marisol Morel as vice president, director of deposit operations.
Morel brings more than 21 years of experience in branch administration, retirement account and regulatory compliance. Multiple functions in her position at the bank include deposit processing, research, account maintenance and account reconciliation.
Morel began her banking career with Queens County Savings Bank, followed by NorthEast Community Bank, where she held various positions of increased responsibility from teller, customer service representative, branch manager and vice president of branch administration and bank secrecy officer.
“I’m thrilled to be part of The Westchester Bank family," said Morel.
"I am very people-oriented, and knowing how much the staff enjoys and respects one another made my decision to join them an easy one. That same genuine warmth and engagement is experienced by every customer who walks through the bank’s doors, and it’s very nice to be a part of,” she concluded.
“Marisol has an exceptional background that is well-suited for her position as director of deposit operations," said John M. Tolomer, president and chief executive officer of The Westchester Bank.
"Beyond her extensive banking experience, it was Marisol’s positive attitude and personality that won the day.”
