Yonkers Protests Dollar Store For Warburton Avenue

YONKERS, N.Y. – Yonkers property owners and residents on Nov. 15 protested the proposed Family Dollar at 382 Warburton Ave, reports the Hamlet Hub.

Protesters stated they’re against the store because it would reduce parking space and would add to a downgraded perception of the area, according to the report.

Arguments for and against the proposal will be heard at a City of Yonkers meeting, open to the public, on Nov. 18, at 6 p.m. at City Hall.
