The Cross County Shopping Center is seeking a permit to turn an existing maintenance facility near Kimball Avenue into more retail or restaurant space, lohud.com reported.

Its anchor stores are Macy's, Old Navy and Sears. Among the stores are Charlotte Russe, Aeropostale, GameStop, H&M, Swarovski, and Zales. AT&T, Bank of America, and Verizon also have branches there.

The mall’s operators have invested millions in the property and reportedly are adding Shake Shack, a New York City-based burger chain, and a Starbucks to its roster of tenants, the lohud.com story said.

The proposed expansion is schedule to be reviewed by the Planning Board Wednesday, lohud.com reported.
