The land off Austin Avenue will be bought by Morris Companies for $32 million, said the lohud.com report.

Of that amount, $13 million will go to the city, while $19 million will go to Westchester County, according to lohud.com. Both the city and the county control parts of the parcel, reported lohud.com.

Initially, Target proposed a store 15 years ago, though the proposal kept stalling due to a number of factors, said lohud.com.
