You’re not alone.

But those who plan to enjoy Christmas Eve by letting someone else cook better hurry. Yonkers restaurants are gearing up for a busy Dec. 24 and they say reservations are going fast.

“People don’t feel like cooking on Christmas Eve,” said Joseph Siciliano, manager at Tombolino Ristorante on Kimball Avenue. “We’re already almost all filled up for the day.”

Luckily, there are enough restaurants in Yonkers to satisfy almost any holiday craving.

For those looking to celebrate in Italian fashion, there are a handful of eateries serving a traditional Christmas Eve feast of seven fishes – or vigiglia, as it is referred to in Italy.

Tombolino will serve an assortment of seafood platters including baccala, deep fried shrimp and scallops. It will be open until midnight Christmas Eve.

On downtown’s Main Street, Zuppa also has composed a traditional dinner with main courses and appetizers “centered around the beautiful and delicate bounty the sea has to offer.” Reservations for Christmas Eve dinner begin at 5 p.m. and last until 9 p.m.

Looking for an Irish celebration?  Rory Dolan’s has you covered.

Santa Claus will even be at the McLean Avenue restaurant from 3 to 6 p.m. Christmas Eve. On Christmas Day, guests can choose from a special menu that includes roast stuffed turkey and ham with all the fixings or slow-roasted Long Island Duckling.

Or maybe you were hoping for some Mexican flavor. What better time to try out downtown Yonkers’ newest restaurant, Guapo Cocina Mexicana. The 10 Warburton Ave., eatery will be open until 7 p.m. Christmas Eve, serving all types of tacos, tortillas and other authentic Mexican dishes.

In addition, Central Park Avenue’s Ranchero Grandero will be open until 10 p.m. and serving its regular menu of quesadillas, fajitas and seafood.

For those looking to celebrate the night before Christmas on the waterfront, Xavier’s X20 On the Hudson will begin dinner reservations at 5 p.m. and seat guests until 9 p.m. While they are still finalizing the menu, visitors will be treated to a three-course meal with appetizers, entrees and a desert for $75.

Next door, Dolphin Restaurant and Bar will serve dinner until 9 p.m., with a special “7 Fish Christmas Eve Dinner” along with other specials and the regular menu.
